Oxford Street car-free testing begins October 2026

Oxford Street is set to become car-free for a live testing phase starting in October 2026. The pedestrianisation will cover nearly a kilometre of the famous shopping street, with buses and cyclists diverted. Emergency and refuse vehicles will retain access.
