Charing Cross and Waterloo East reopen after three-week track upgrade

Charing Cross and Waterloo East stations in central London reopened on 17 August after a three-week closure for engineering works. Network Rail installed new track and switches to address faults causing over 21,000 minutes of delays. A final closure is scheduled for 23 August for checks.
