Tornado hits Gunnersbury station, trapping passengers

A tornado struck Gunnersbury station on 8th December 1954, causing the platform roof to collapse and trapping 15 passengers. The storm originated from an Atlantic depression and caused significant damage to homes and businesses before dissipating.
