Thameslink to upgrade 60,000 train seats

Thameslink is upgrading over 60,000 standard class seat cushions across its 115 trains. The new spring and memory foam cushions will be rolled out from next year as part of a pre-existing contract with Siemens Mobility. The upgrade comes at no additional cost to taxpayers.
