M25 and QEII Bridge face weekend overnight closures
Drivers using the M25 motorway and the QEII Bridge at Dartford should prepare for significant overnight disruptions this coming weekend. Several sections of the motorway will be closed for planned works, including a full overnight closure of the QEII Bridge.

National Highways will close the Dartford west tunnel from 10 pm on 15 August 2026 and the east tunnel from 10.30 pm on 16 August for overnight repairs. Vehicles over 4.8 metres will be barred from the east tunnel on Sunday. Further closures continue until 23 August.
