Nats apologises after 2,000 flights cancelled in major air traffic failure

National Air Traffic Services has apologised for a major technical failure on September 8 that led to over 2,000 flight cancellations and hundreds of thousands of passenger delays. The Ministry of Defence has denied that a military aircraft caused the disruption.
