London Fire Brigade to return to Albert Embankment HQ

The London Fire Brigade is set to return to its historic Albert Embankment headquarters after Lambeth Council approved refurbishment plans. The building, originally opened in 1937, will be modernised and will house the brigade's command centre and a public history space. Fire engines will operate from Clapham and Chelsea during the works.
