Thousands of Northern line passengers travel through the remains of an unfinished Tube station, North End, also known as Bull & Bush, which was partially constructed in the early 20th century but never opened to the public. Work on the station was abandoned in 1906.

A children's book inspired by the disused North End Northern Line station, planned to be the deepest on the network, has been published. 'The Somewhere Station' by Daniel and Gabriel Marsh features characters trapped in a fictionalised abandoned station, with illustrations by Belsize Park artist Jesse Brown.
