Waterloo introduces track drones to cut trespass delays

A drone now patrols Waterloo’s tracks, streaming live footage to control teams after trespass incidents caused 57 hours of delays near Clapham Junction and cost £1.2m near New Malden. The scheme will expand to Clapham Junction, New Malden and Walton-on-Thames by 2026.
