Crystal Palace Station's Link to Victorian Palace

Crystal Palace railway station, a busy south London hub, was originally built to serve the iconic Crystal Palace. The grand Victorian structure, constructed for the Great Exhibition of 1851, was later moved to Sydenham Hill. The palace was destroyed by fire on November 30, 1936.
