Crouch End station, opened in 1867, never became part of the Northern line because electrification stopped in 1939. The disused track was later adopted by Haringey Council and opened as Parkland Walk in 1984, creating London’s longest nature reserve.

WorldTfL extends 91 bus to Haringey Heartlands from 1 August 2026
Transport for London will extend the 91 bus from Crouch End Broadway to Wood Green via Haringey Heartlands on 1 August 2026. The N91 night service and 232 route will also change to improve access to the regeneration area, Haringey Council said.
